The American alligator is a masterpiece of evolution, a survivor from the age of dinosaurs that has perfectly adapted to its domain. For millions of years, its powerful presence has shaped the very landscape of the wetlands, creating ecosystems that countless other species depend on. But this ancient ruler now faces threats it never evolved to overcome: shrinking habitats, polluted waters, and dangerous conflicts with a growing human world.
Our story began when our founders witnessed a tragic event: a large, healthy alligator was needlessly destroyed after being deemed a “nuisance” for simply wandering into a suburban area that was once its native hunting ground. We realized that the future of these magnificent creatures depended not on fear, but on understanding, compassion, and active conservation. That day, a promise was made—to become a voice for the voiceless and a force for their protection.
That promise became our mission: to ensure the survival of the American alligator and the preservation of the vital ecosystems they call home. We achieve this through a three-pillar approach:

Rescue & Rehabilitation: Our expert team responds to emergencies, rescues injured and displaced alligators, and provides them with expert care with the goal of returning them to the wild.
